Swimming is a great past time to beat the Summer heat. Its the fourth most popular recreational activity in the United States, with about 300 million people swimming in pools, hot tubs, lakes and other bodies of water each year, there is a strong possibility that taking home some unwanted disease is possible.

According to the CDC Recreational water illnesses (RWIs) are caused by germs spread by swallowing, breathing in mists or aerosols, or having contact with contaminated water in swimming pools, hot tubs, water parks, water play areas, interactive fountains, lakes, rivers, or oceans.  Take a look at some pool disease that can happen to you and take care of yourself on your next pool visit.  ,
