Swimmer’s ear
Swimmers Ear also called otitis externa, is an infection along the outer ear canal. The symptoms usually occur during the next few days, they include itchiness, redness, swelling. pain when there is pressure on the ear and pus draining out of the infected ear. Any person swimming can get it, but children are the ones most commonly affected. It can happen when water stays in your ear to long.
The best tips to prevent it is when leaving the water, dry your ears with a towel not a Q-tip and wear a swimming cap.
