For Fall 2013, MISS WU by Jason Wu continues the optimistic, playful tone of the Spring debut collection. The MISS WU Collection embodies many of the designer’s signatures – beautiful fabrics, exclusive prints and impeccable detailing.
he Fall 2013 collection consists of 45 pieces that includes dresses, pants, jackets, skirts, knits, blouses and coats and retails from $195-$995, and will be carried exclusively at 49 Nordstrom stores and on Nordstrom.com.
The cheerful collection has 1960’s inspired shapes with a whimsical nod to the 1970’s. The Fall Collection showcases some of Jason’s favorite elements such as graphic prints and bold colors – think fuchsia, chartreuse and cobalt blue. Featured prints include a confetti dot print, Ginko leaf print, Baroque lace prints and many variations of the signature Miss Wu stripe. He used grosgrain to trim collars and waistbands on dresses and tops. Jason also introduced several coats including a playful red wool military inspired coat and a shearling motorcycle inspired jacket. For evening Jason translates a signature black feather evening dress into the Miss Wu collection.
