Timbaland and Keri Hilson prep apology song for Jay-Z and Beyoncé

Gucci Hosts Reception To Benefit UNICEF

Over the last few weeks, fans have learned that hip-hop titans Jay-Z and Timbaland once had a falling out over an unknown beef. Now that the two have come together again for Jay’s char-topping Magna Carta Holy Grail both artists have been opening up about their former beef. Now, Timbo is claiming that he was to blame for the rift and that he’s prepping an apology song for Jay.

In a recent interview with Diddy’s Revolt TV, Timbaland claimed that he was “wrong” in the rift, which he says was due to “personal stuff” and “disagreements.”

Timbo says that he’s now working on an apology record called “Sorry,” which will appear on his upcoming album.

“My verse I’m saying like, ‘We copped the same Range. We talked to the same dames. Same things, same lane. Now we see each other, don’t even speak…Accept my apology’…It’s like a Tupac kinda sh*t…It’s deep. It’s pretty deep,” said Tim.

However, even more surprising is the song’s guest artist, Keri Hilson. As may know, Hilson came under fire at the start of career after she released the remix to her hit single, “Turning Me On,” which many believed contained disses to Jay’s wife, Beyoncé. Since then, Hilson has continued to receive harsh criticism from Beyoncé’s Bey Hive, and many believe that her career stalled because of her diss towards Bey.

“Keri actually tells the story about the whole Beyonce thing and how she was sorry about it. Cause she wasn’t really talking about Beyoncé, but other people—it says it in the song,” Timbaland revealed.

It’s still unclear when fans will hear the song or when Timbo’s album will be released, but we’re sure that it’s going to be one of the most talked about songs around when it does finally hit the airwaves.

And we’re glad that Jay and Tim were able to squash their beef peacefully, and we hope Hilson’s verse can at least help to make Bey’s fans forgive her. Check out some other beefs that were squashed peacefully below. – nicholas robinson
