A little 6 year-old girl, Quianna Tompkins, is the latest victim in the senseless crimes that continue across Chicago. Quianna, was with about 40 family members and friends gathered to remember a relative, Brandon “Bones” Snipe, 24, who was killed in a senseless shooting exactly five years ago on Friday in Chicago.
Another female, 52, was also shot when bullets went flying into the crowd of mourners. Witnesses put pressure on her wound and called 911.
As Quianna’s mother, Juannakee Kennedy pleaded for the teens responsible for the shooting to come forward; she told reporters that her daughter is fighting for her life.
This latest shooting brings the shooting total to almost 1,100 for 2013.
