Former child star, Amanda Bynes is back in the news after starting a fire in the driveway of a home in Thousand Oaks in Southern California.

Officials who responded to the call said Bynes met the criteria of a  5150,  which is an order placed on an individual to undergo a 72-hour involuntary psychiatric hold during which they are given a mental health evaluation.

Bynes, 27, who was reportedly in the area to visit a relative in a retirement community center but was turned away when management at the facility thought she seemed a bit intoxicated, according to TMZ reports.

Workers called a cab for Bynes but it is believed that she hopped out of the taxi once she realized she had no money. As she returned to the retirement community, management called police and accused her of trespassing.

According to TMZ, Bynes was found carrying a “little red gas tank” at the time of the incident, during which she burned some of her clothing. The elderly homeowners had no idea who or what was going on outside of their residence until police rang the doorbell.

This is the latest drama surrounding the former childhood star who has been accused of being mentally unstable after constant Twitter rants against various celebrities and drastically changing her appearance. Bynes was arrested in May after throwing a marijuana bong out of her New York apartment and was recently thrown out of the apartment due to neighbors being fed up with her behavior.
