Dr. Phil
Obviously feeling very open about his personal life, Dr. Phil previously revealed to Newsweek that he not only underwent a vasectomy but also assisted in the procedure. While his wife was pregnant with their first child, Phil apparently snuck away to have the surgery while on a business trip.
“Shortly thereafter, while she [his wife] was pregnant, I was doing work in another city with a good friend of mine. He said, ‘The office closes at five — why don’t you come in and we’ll do your vasectomy?'” said Phil. “He put me in the car with an ice pack, and I drove myself to the airport and flew home. That vasectomy was the biggest mistake I ever made. I was 29.”
Dr. Phil eventually reversed the surgery and had another child with his wife.
Ozzy Osbourne
Rocker Ozzy Osbourne previously admitted to having a vasectomy and later reversing the procedure to appease his wife. Osbourne decided to have the procedure after having two children and three more with his wife Sharon. After at first being lulled into the operation by Sharon, Osbourne decided to reverse the vasectomy when she changed her mind and said she wanted to have another child.
“Then she got broody, saying ‘I want another baby!'”, said Osbourne on his wife’s behavior. “I said, ‘Well I can’t do it anymore.’ She said, ‘You can have it reversed.’ The doctor told me to make up my bloody mind….I did have it reversed in the end,” he added.
