NeNe remarried her ex-husband, Gregg Leakes, on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Atlanta’s posh Buckhead community. The nuptials were filmed for “I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding,” a Bravo reality spin-off series debuting this fall. Leakes reportedly spent $1.8 million on the ceremony treating their guests to a ceremony, reception and Sunday brunch.
In the lawsuit, which they entered into on April 5, 2013, Tiffany Cook Events is seeking a total of $1,142,900, which according to the lawsuit includes:
“Plaintiff received a retainer deposit in the amount of $18,750 (the ‘Retainer’)
“… Based on the final Wedding budget of $1.8 million, the balance of Planning Fee, Plaintiff was entitled to received on the Wedding day was $270,000 less the $18,750 retainer for a total of $251,250.
“… Plaintiff would also have received compensation for décor design and execution fees under the Contract in the amount of $889,900.
“… Plaintiff was also to receive four (4) airline tickets, coach from ‘WPB’ (West Palm Beach) … Plaintiff’s airline fares totaled $1,750.”
Tiffany Cook Events are claiming they completed all preliminary planning services, including décor and design, for the event (namely, the Wedding).
