Gabrielle Union and other black celebrity women with blonde hair
Gabrielle Union is the latest black celebrity to lighten their hair this summer. As previously reported, Union is currently playing Chris Rock’s love interest in the film “Finally Famous” and is donning a sultry blonde weave for the role.
Still getting mixed reviews over the coiffure, Union has been both blasted with criticism and showered with compliments for the look.
“Way too light!” wrote one fan.
“Love your hair color!” added another.
Like Union, there are several other black women in music and film who have been both lauded and criticized for lightening their hair. Despite that, there are a few women that the majority of people can agree successfully pull off blonde tresses.
