Female-driven magazines often have major influences on the perception of beauty. But when the most popular magazines lack diversity, it can subliminally tarnish the self-image of those who rarely see their likeness on the cover.

According to a report by Huffington Post, several of the most popular magazines in the nation aren’t interested in featuring black women on the cover.
