Chris Brown, 24, is threatening to call it quits. Yesterday, the “Fine China” singer vented on Twitter to vent about the trials and tribulations he’s endured personally and in his music career since he beat his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.While the tweets were later deleted, we were able to recover a few of his rants.
Brown quickly caught his fans’ attention by tweeting the following:
“@chrisbrown: Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.” << Noooo! Why??!

He continued:
“Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it! (sic).”
Brown was convicted of battery, sentenced to 80 hours of community service, five years probation, and required to attend a 12-month domestic violence-counseling program. Unfortunately for Brown, that was not the end of the battle. Earlier this year, his probation was revoked after speculation he was involved in a hit-and-run incident in Los Angeles in May.
Brown was spared jail time, but will have to face the music in court later this month. Will all of the stress result in the final chapter of Brown’s career? Or is his rant just a publicity stunt to boost sales of his next album, X? Only time will tell. –ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
