A New York-based rap group blew their $130,000 marketing budget before gaining national prestige in music. Known as Da YoungFellaz, the duo spent $25,000 of the loan in just three months, according to reps at the StigmaSound studio.

StigmaSound invested the $130,000 into the group and are suing to get their money back after the duo only released and promoted one song in six months. The duo also spent $14,000 to attend the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX. However, the group didn’t perform at the event.

StigmaSound’s owner Frank Marquez says the duo spent the rest of the money on marijuana and expensive trips. Da YoungFellaz deny Marquez’s claims.
