LAS VEGAS — Not only is Steve Harvey’s “Ford Neighborhood Awards” a reverse concept where celebrities lovingly and willingly give awards to the everyday heroes and sheroes of urban America, it is also the event extravaganza where many of the nominees out-dressed the celebrities as well.
With the exception of Steve Harvey and his wife, Marjorie, of course. 
As some 5,000 urban sophisticates packed the arena at the MGM mega-casino and resort, the nominees of the Neighborhood Awards strutted the blue carpet with some serious swag and were draped in suits and gowns that made the well-heeled celebrities take notice. 
Well, most of them, anyway.
