Gia Allemand dies
Gia Allemand, a previous contestant on ABC’s “The Bachelor,” has passed away after an attempted suicide.
RumorFix reports that Allemand was admitted to New Orleans’ University hospital for a “serious medical emergency” after her NBA player boyfriend Ryan Anderson found her unresponsive. Allemand was unconscious and on life support as of Tuesday night and passed away Wednesday.
”Due to a critical loss of brain and organ function, life support was withdrawn today,” a rep for Allemand revealed today in a statement.
Allemand is said to have died “peacefully” with her mother, boyfriend and other lifelong friends by her side.
She was 29 years old.
Allemand appeared on season 14 of “The Bachelor” and competed for the affection of Jake Pavelka. She finished third on the program.
