Some of the dignitaries and celebrities attending the March on Washington 2013 anniversary were either in attendance at the legendary event or have direct link to the monumental day five decades ago.
Caroline Kennedy, the surviving daughter of President John F. Kennedy and Jackie O. and the niece of former U.S. attorney general Robert F. Kennedy, will be one of the speakers commemorating the 50th anniversary of the movement and Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Her father as president watched the March from down the street from his perch the White House along with his advisors.
