Johnny Gill sues hotel for $1 million after being beaten by racist white man

R&B singer Johnny Gill is suing Four Seasons Beverly Hills because they didn’t prevent an assault that occurred on their property. According to reports by NewsOne, Gill says he was drinking with friends at the hotel in 2011 when a drunk white man approached them.

The man soon began yelling racial slurs at Gill and later punched and pushed him into a heated lamp. Gill said he sustained severe injuries and was unable to perform. He also said that he suffered from memory loss.


Gill is suing for the hotel for $1 million.
