Solange carves her own path

If Beyoncé thrilled with glamour and pizzazz, her baby sister Solange achieved it by embracing her own differences. Solange’s eclectic sound and dress was perfect for the hipsters who won’t conform to the norm. Her 45-minute set had an intimate feel that was inspired by rock, hip-hop and soul.

Miguel keeps R&B alive

Miguel held it down as one of the only pure R&B artists at the festival. He crooned his way through hits such as “How Many Drinks,” “Adorn,” “Quickie” and “Sure Thing.” While rock, pop and hip-hop are easier crowd movers at a lager festival, Miguel kept fans intrigued with his edgy ballads.
