After a week of crazy Twitter rants, Gucci Mane wrapped up his week with another arrest. The 33-year-old rapper was arrested Saturday, Sept. 14 at around 1am on weapons and drug charges. Radric Delantic Davis, Gucci’s real name, was taken into custody by Atlanta police after they responded to a call made by one of Gucci’s friends regarding his erratic behavior, according to TMZ. When police approached the rapper, Gucci Mane really lost it and began to curse and threaten the police, which pretty much guaranteed his arrest.
Gucci was booked for carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct, and marijuana possession but was also taken to a local hospital due to his outrageous behavior.
Davis was indicted in April on an assault charge involving an incident at an Atlanta nightclub. He pleaded not guilty. He has been arrested at least ten times since 2008. Check out a collection of his mugshots here.
