When Samuel L. Jackson is in the news talking about language it’s usually about his hilarious overuse of curse words. But this time around Jackson is making headlines for criticizing President Obama’s pronunciation skills and slamming him for “trying to relate” to people with bad grammar.

In a candid new interview with Playboy, Jackson spoke about how he feels proper linguistic skills have been steadily wasting away in society.

“How the f— did we become a society where mediocrity is acceptable?” he asked.

Jackson then turned his attention to Obama and claimed that the president should stop butchering the English language in an effort to fit in with the public.

“First of all, we know it ain’t because of his blackness, so I say stop trying to ‘relate,’ ” Jackson said. “Be a leader. Be f—— presidential. Look, I grew up in a society where I could say ‘It ain’t’ or ‘What it be’ to my friends. When I’m out presenting myself to the world as myself, who graduated from college, who had family who cared about me and who has a well-read background, I  f—— conjugate.”

Jackson also addressed his previous claims to Ebony that Obama needs to “get scary in the next four years.” He doesn’t think much has changed,  although he did reaffirm his support for Obama.

“He got a little heated about the kids getting killed in Newtown and about the gun law,” he told Playboy. “He’s still a safe dude. But with those Republicans, we’re now in a situation where even if he said, ‘I want to give you m———— a raise,’ they’d go, ‘F— you! We don’t want a raise!’ … How do we fix the fact that politicians aren’t trying to serve the people, they’re just trying to serve their party and their closed ideals?”

Well, Jackson certainly has the freedom of speech to say what he wants about Obama and we must say he’s the most charming critic, curse words included, that Obama has ever had. Check out some other Obama critics below. – nicholas robinson
