Renowned music veteran Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols set the BET Hip Hop Awards weekend on a righteous course with “Hip Hop Unplugged: Where Old School Meets New School” with the help of rappers T.I., Ludacris and Bone Crusher, singers Jagged Edge and old-school hip-hop legend Chubb Rock at the ATL Live on the Park at the The Park Tavern in Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta.
ATL Live on the Park was hosted by lifestyle specialist and radio DJ Kenny Burns and powered by the sounds of DJ Mars with an assist from the house band, Teddy White Band. Shanti Das honored Ludacris’ longtime business partner, Chaka Zulu, and the founders of AllHipHop.com for their indelible contributions to modern music and the rap game.
