Tom Clancy death
A best-selling author has died. Tom Clancy whose espionage tomes were widely popular, passed away Tuesday night.
A rep for Clancy has not confirmed the cause of death, but told The New York Times that the author died at a Baltimore hospital not far from his Maryland home.
Clancy’s novel “The Hunt for Red October” sold more than five million copies and was adapted into a hit film starring Alec Baldwin. His other books “Patriot Games”, “Clear and Present Danger” and “The Sum of All Fears” were also turned into films and starred Ben Affleck and Harrison Ford.
Clancy was 66-years-old.
