NFL week 6 recap and scores

Patriots and Jaguars

We’ve wrapped up week 6 in the NFL and only two teams remain undefeated; Broncos and Chiefs.

Pittsburgh Steelers got a much needed win this week against the Jets.  This just may be the boost needed to finish their season off strong.

Broncos are still holding on to their winning streak.  Jacksonville played hard this week and put some much needed pressure on Manning.  We even thought this would be the week to silence the Broncos.  Well it didn’t quite work out that way.  Denver took off and ran away with the lead, adding another “W” to their record.  Final score 35-19, Broncos.

Patriots had the best comeback game of the week against the Saints.  The Saints held the lead until late in the 4th quarter and thought they had this game in the bag.  However, Tom Brady had a different vision for the ending.  With less than 10 seconds remaining in the game, he throws a touchdown pass to rookie Kenbrell Thompkins which deflated the Saints fans. The final score 30-27, Patriots.

Injuries: DeMarco Murray, Danny Amendola, James Jones, Randall Cobb, Aqib Talib
