Diana hosts a blue party for NeNe in which all of the bridesmaids are supposed to wear blue and let NeNe stand out in her own outfit. Most of the bridesmaid play along with the theme but Marlo claims that Diana cannot regulate her and she decides to wear a tropical dress instead. At the party, the ladies all share a tender moment as they reminisce over their individual friendships with NeNe, but the moment is marred as Cynthia and they confront Marlo about wearing a different dress and trying to steal the spotlight from NeNe. Marlo, surprisingly, begins tearing up and explains that she has to make herself “extra” and fabulous to deal with memories of her painful childhood. However, NeNe is unconvinced by Marlo’s “victim” story and claims that Marlo is just vain and selfish.
