It is just never that serious. An unidentified male fan of the New York Jets got into a melee following the Jets’ victory over the New England Patriots this past Sunday in New York. During the skirmish, the tall man clocked the slender blond woman in the face. 
Neither party was arrested, which is highly suspect, in light of a large male throwing a haymaker at a woman’s head that landed on its intended target. The Jets were made aware of the incident, saying the New Jersey State Police investigated and decided to let both parties leave and go home.
This is yet another powerful case for those who are pushing to ban alcohol during the games.
