#2 Jodeci
90s R&B’s biggest bad boys, however, were these leather clad ruffians. Formed by two sets of brothers from North Carolina, Jodeci played Rolling Stones to Boyz II Men’s Beatles from 1991 to 1996, and influenced a ton of imitators who followed in their wake. But the genius of Devante Swing’s productions and the undeniable power of lead vocalists K-Ci and JoJo Hailey soon gave way to drugs and erratic behavior. The group dissolved at the height of its popularity, and has now become synonymous with wasted talent and missed opportunities. There are several YouTube videos to prove this.
