North Carolina Central shooting
A gunman was reported on the campus of North Carolina Central University today Thursday, November, 21. Police have since arrested an unidentified man on the school’s Durham, North Carolina campus. A tweet from the University’s official Twitter account went out around 2:40 advising students to seek shelter.
#NCCU Eagle Alert: The NCCU campus is on lockdown. Please stay away from all windows and doors. There is a possible active shooter on campus

At approximately 3:10 p.m. the lockdown was lifted.
Students have tweeted photos of the scene on campus and reported hearing gunfire and police sirens.
