Earlier this fall, this writer had the distinct pleasure of attending Giuseppe Zanotti’s invitation-only grand opening event at Phipps Plaza hosted by in-demand songwriter, singer, rapper Rico Love. Rappers Ludacris, Kid Cudi, 2 Chainz, Waka Flocka Flame, trendsetters, scenesters and gonnabes all made appearances, but for a true fashionista like myself the main attractions of the evening had names like stiletto and handbag attached to them.

The rappers were sporting with the eye-catching metallic high-stop sneakers and the shoes. DJ Baby Yu was spinning the music, but screaming “take me home” were the calf-hair platform pumps and matching clutch.
