The Purple One will be making his first-ever appearance on a television sitcom.
It has been announced that recording superstar Prince is set to make a guest appearance on FOX’s hit series “New Girl.” The pop icon will be featured on the show’s Super Bowl episode and will reportedly appear as himself.
According to reports, Prince is a longtime fan of the show, which stars actress/singer Zooey Deschanel. In this episode, Prince will somehow interfere with the relationship between Jess (Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson.) Reps aren’t sharing too many details about the episode.
“New Girl” has become one of FOX’s most-watched shows. It also features Damon Wayans, Jr. and Taye Diggs in a recurring role.
