Former McDonald’s worker and now dishwasher, Charles Ramsey, 44, also known for his involvement in the May 6, 2013, rescue of the Cleveland kidnapping victims — Amanda Berry, Georgina “Gina” DeJesus, and Michelle Knight — has signed a book deal with Cleveland publisher David Gray & Co.

Collaborating as Ramsey’s co-author will be freelance writer Randy Nyerges.

“Charles says outrageous things, but what a story he has,” says Nyerges.

“America doesn’t know yet how truly brilliant this guy is.”

Ramsey’s untitled book will be published next spring.

Viking announced last week that it has acquired a planned book by Berry and DeJesus. The book is currently untitled and is scheduled to come out in 2015. Knight is working on her own memoir, which Weinstein Books plans to publish next spring.
