Things seemed smooth in the world of Danity Kane ever since they announced their reunion, sans D. Woods, earlier this year. But their reunion was recently marred when Woods stepped forward and claimed that the group never really invited her back for the reunion. Now, as expected, things are heating up between Woods and her former group mates as she threatens to sue them over copyright issues.

Earlier this week, Woods claimed that she was open to reuniting with the rest of the girls, but when she tried to negotiate a reunion that would allow her to still devote time to her other business ventures, communication broke down.

“As you know it’s been five years and we all have been involved with projects to continue our careers when there was no communication or desire to reunite during that time. But when trying to explore options on how to reunite with them and honor prior commitments I was met with resistance and they chose to move on without me. I have always left the door open to considering the reunion,” Woods told TMZ.

After the group’s other outspoken star, Aubrey O’Day, got wind of her former close friend’s comments, she responded with what many believed was a thinly veiled jab at Woods on Twitter.

Not one to be outdone, Woods retweeted O’Day and then sent a jaw-dropping response of her own, accusing the group of stealing from her.

O’Day has yet to respond to Woods’ claim, but this looks like a battle that’s just getting heated up. Check out some other major R&B beefs below. –nicholas robinson
