Snoop Dogg can strike one item off of his professional bucket list. In a segment from his recent documentary Reincarnated, Snoop lamented the fact that he hasn’t been able to perform at the White House. The rapper acknowledged that most of his material is a bit too bawdy for 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The veteran hip-hop star stated at the time that “I’m never able to perform in situations where I’d love to because I don’t have those kinds of songs…My songs are too hard.”

He also stated his belief that President Barack Obama would want him to perform at the White House. “I know Obama wants me to come to the White House,” said Snoop. “But what can I perform?”

Snoop did get to make an appearance at the White House for the 36th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, recently. The show will air this Sunday on CBS, and Snoop has released a video clip of him and his family enjoying their time in Washington D.C.

“I’ve got my wife, my daughter and we’re going to have a good time,” Snoop says in the clip. “Eastside LBC to DC, my baby boo been with me the whole way through… We at the White House doing it big.”

Snoop joins Jay Z, CommonLudacris and the late Eazy E as hip-hop stars who have visited the White House.
