Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant was having one of the best years for an NBA player over 30 when he tore his Achilles tendon in the spring of 2013. He attempted a comeback in late November, but he looked slower than normal while trying to get his rhythm back. Things went from bad to worse when Bryant broke his knee cap in early December. He also has an abundance of naysayers who think his career is close to being over. Charles Barkley said Bryant will never be the same and referred to him as a Garden snake instead of the Black Mamba during a telecast of the NBA on TNT.
