Sexy actress Tika Sumpter had a breakout 2013.
She landed a starring role on the OWN series “The Haves and Have Nots.” She starred alongside Tyler Perry and Larry the Cable Guy in A Madea Christmas. And now she kicks off 2014 as the female lead in the Ice Cube/Kevin Hart vehicle (no pun intended) Ride Along. The New York native who began her career as a model is inching ever closer to superstardom, but she’s still as grounded as ever.

The starlet gave RO a little access into her private world, and shared a few facts about herself.
Tika’s Soundtrack:
I’m listening to two albums: Beyoncé, of course, and I’m hooked on Tamar Braxton’s new album. I’m a little late to the party–but it’s so good. I listen to it every day.
Biggest Turnoff:
When [guys] brag about things that they have. It’s OK to be confident, it’s great to have things. But to brag about it? Biggest turnoff in the world to me.
Favorite Movie:
One of my favorite movies is The Shawshank Redemption. [And also] The Sound of Music and Glory. There are so many more.
Random Tika Fact:
I laugh super, super loud. And I’m not ashamed of it. If you want to hang out with me, you have to accept my laughter. And sometimes, I snort. I literally snort. So if you love me, you’ll love my snorting-and-laughing.
