Ice Cube hosted an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit, and the hip-hop superstar revealed his one major professional regret. Cube stated that he wishes he and his former N.W.A. bandmate Dr. Dre collaborated more often over the past 20 years.

“Not being able to work with Dr. Dre as much on music,” Ice Cube said, according to XXL, in regards to his professional regrets.

Cube and Dre came to prominence in N.W.A. in the late 80s, before business disputes with group leader Eazy E led to their departures and the group’s deterioration. The two have only worked together sporadically in the two decades since; on tracks such as “Natural Born Killas” from the 1994 Murder Was the Case soundtrack and 2001s “Hello,” from Cube’s War & Peace, Vol. 2.

Ice Cube took part in the AMA session alongside Kevin Hart to promote their movie Ride Along, which hits theaters January 17. Cube also addressed rumors regarding another Friday film. According to Cube, a fourth entry in the popular comedy franchise is being delayed due to studio wrangling.

“The next Friday movie is caught up in development hell at New Line Cinema,” he said. “Pray that we get it outta there.”
