Golden Globes 2014 winners list

The 2014 Golden Globes featured the hilarious antics of Amy Pohler and Tina Fey, surprising snubs and a big win for one for director Steve McQueen and his formidable cast. After getting snubbed in the categories of Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress, 12 Years a Slave took home the Globe for Best Motion Picture, Drama. The thought provoking film starring standouts Chiwetel Ejiofor and Lupita Nyong’o beat out Captain Phillips, Gravity, Philomena and Rush.

Other big winners for the night included American Hustle, which took home three awards and AMC’s “Breaking Bad” that snagged Best TV series, drama and Best Actor in a TV series for lead actor Bryan Cranston.
