Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black album took the world by storm and made her one of the top-selling and most critically acclaimed artists in 2007. She was set to sweep the 2008 awards show and take home the coveted Album of The Year award. But both she and Kanye West lost to jazz artist Herbie Hancock.
