A 17-year-old was allegedly killed by her 14-year-old brother after she washed his clothes and bleached them by mistake. According to a report by NBC Bay Area, Justice Toliver was shot by her brother, Mario Toliver Jr.
The incident occurred in the family’s home in Oakland, Calif. Justice and Mario began arguing after a few of Mario’s clothes were bleached. Mario allegedly pulled a gun on his older sister and shot her to death. He fled the scene and police discovered Justice’s body in the home.
Family members say that both teens were dealing with a lot of stress. Justice had a 2-year-old daughter and Mario has a 6-month-old baby.
The family has urged Mario to turn himself in to authorities and are trying to figure out how he obtained a gun. Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to Mario’s whereabouts.
