Several of the top black business owners and executives attended the inaugural BET Honors Influencers’ Brunch in Washington, D.C. Held at The Hamilton, Chris Spencer and Anthony Anderson served as hosts for the event. The Influencers’ Brunch was created by the Ascension Three Leadership Group. Headed by Ronald Montgomery, Tarek Stevens and Donald M. Woodard, the group aims to bring black business leaders together in an effort to create more opportunities.

Donald M. Woodard, Esq. – Woodard is a partner in Gordon & Rees’ Business Transactions and Sports, Media and Entertainment Law practice groups. Woodard was recently honored by Who’s Who in Black Atlanta and has been recognized by legal and business organizations as one of the top lawyers in Georgia.
Tarek Stevens – Stevens reached high levels of success in the music industry as a member of the band Whistle. Over the last twenty years, he has used his inside knowledge of the creative and business side of entertainment to help manage the success of artists and organizations.
Ronald Montgomery – Representing a roster of talent that boasts some of the most celebrated influences in music over the past decade, Montgomery is a mainstay with some of the biggest companies and brands in entertainment, including music, television and film.
