Andre 3000’s father dies
The father of rapper Andre 3000 has died. According to StraightFromTheA who spoke to a rep for the rapper, 3000’s father Lawrence Walker passed away today, February 12, 2014.
Walker, a Georgia resident, reportedly chopped wood for his home after he lost power during today’s ice storm. He suffered a heart attack shortly after.
The news comes just months after the legendary emcee mourned the loss of his mother, Sharon Hodo. Hodo, 58, died in her sleep just a day after 3000’s 38th birthday in May.
