Mama Joyce Tries To Set Up Todd
A regular work out session between Kandi and her BFF Carmon is ruined when Carmon reveals to Kandi that Mama Joyce left her a threatening voice message for threatening to woman who’s been spreading lies about her and Todd. Carmon also reveals that Mama Joyce offered their friend money to set up Todd and take pictures of him cheatin. Kandi pulls Todd into the conversation and tells him everything that’s happened, but tries to defend her mom in the process. Todd is infuriated and tells Kandi that her mother is still in control of her entire life. He explains that, eventually, he’ll leave her if she doesn’t put her mom in check. Kandi cries and claims that her mother would never desert her and that she’d rather protect her mom than hurt her. Todd and Carmon stand firm behind their critique and Todd convinces Kandi to go to therapy to deal with her mother.
