The U.S. Census Bureau reported that there were 85.4 million single mothers in 2009, and the numbers are steadily increasing. There is little that can be done right now to make relationships work and to make fathers care for and provide for their kids. My only idea right now is to praise single mothers and give them an official banner that represent their struggle. This banner hopefully sends a direct message to these weak, deadbeat fathers that these single mothers are in fact stronger human beings than they are because they have the ability to take on the man’s role as well as handle their own.
This is the message behind ThugSexy. The term thug represents their masculinity and is complemented by the term sexy, representing femininity. The two words combined represents the dual role that single mothers are taking on in the home. So to get this movement growing, I want every single mother in America to change their (Cell Phone Signature ) to ThugSexy. It is a badge of honor, and single mothers particularly young girls should not soak in misery over these dead beats. But they should hold their heads up high because they are so beautifully complex that they can handle this difficult task with ease – which is very Sexy.
Although single parenthood is becoming an epidemic in this country it has put the strength of a woman on display for the world to see. And for those that once looked at single mothers with ridicule, these mothers’ perseverance has changed the perceptions of their critics. They have gained for themselves great dignity and honor for their ability to adapt to such a devastating situation any in which any one person could be placed. So , If you are a single mother out there and you are in the house getting ready for work or school. Please walk by the mirror and blow a kiss and say to yourself, “I am so ThugSexy” and take that confidence with you as you go out to take on the world. –King Nazir Muhammad
