Peter and Kenya grill Porsha about her divorce
At the end of the episode, Kenya makes her way to Mexico early to prepare for surprises and mischief for the rest of the cast, who all arrive early the next day, sans Phaedra, who allegedly lost her passport. Things get off to a rocky start in the limo though when Peter tells Porsha that he spoke with Kordell about the divorce, which shocks her. Later on at dinner, Phaedra, who was hesitant to bring Apollo around Kenya, shows up with her husband in tow. But it’s Peter who stirs the pot when he brings up the convo with Kordell again and asks for Porsha’s side of the story. Porsha explains that she loved Kordell and that she knew about his “tainted” past and pain when she married him. Both Peter and Kenya allege that Porsha is basically admitting that she signed on to be Kordell’s “Beard” to hide his sexuality. Gregg, Todd, NeNe and Kandi come to her defense and say Porsha’s efforts to help Kordell were secondary to their love and their marriage, but Kenya cuts Kandi off to talk about the trip. Porsha points out Kenya’s shade and the dinner ends with a table full of awkward faces.
