Former NBA player Steve Francis (above, left) was destroyed on Twitter after he made an appearance at an NBA arena in which he used to star in, looking haggard and radically different from his playing days (below).
Francis was only able to realize a fraction of his potential as a point guard for the Houston Rockets and subsequently for the Orlando Magic and New York Knicks because of debilitating conditions beyond his control.
Most people don’t realize that Francis has suffered from Méniére’s disease, which causes episodes of vertigo, tinnitus, and aural fullness. No one could have fathomed the toll it would would take on his body and facial appearance in the ensuing years.
