Kandi’s opening night finally arrives
After months of hard work and family drama, the opening night for A Mother’s Love finally arrives, and Kandi is nervous, so nervous that she begins farting uncontrollably — seriously, it’s what she does when she’s nervous. And Kandi has good reason to be nervous since ticket sales for the show were sluggish, but the venue sells out for opening night and celebrities like Tyler Perry, Stevie J and Nicci Gilbert show up to support the play. Both Porsha and Kandi get rave reviews from the audience and the play closes as a success. Afterward, Kandi and Todd worry that Mama Joyce may be offended by how the play pulls inspiration from her own dislike for Todd, but Joyce tells her daughter that she’s fine with agreeing to disagree about Todd, which is fine with Kandi.
