Dr. Alvetta P. Thomas, president of the Atlanta Technical College, celebrated members of the business community and their work on Friday, April 18. They also recognized their sponsors and donors for their continued support.
The 2014 Bridge Builders recipients included Mary Brock, co-owner of the WNBA Atlanta Dream; Cheryl Lomax, senior VP global marketing and corporate affairs at Bank of America; Erica Qualls, general manager of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis; and Karyn Greer, anchor, Channel 11 – WXIA, who received the President’s Award. The master of ceremony was Chesley McNeil, meterologist for Channel 11-WXIA.
