TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People
TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2014 include Pharrell Williams, Kerry Washington and Beyoncé Knowles. Baddie Bey was chosen as the cover girl for the mag’s annual issue and was profiled by Sheryl Sandberg, the COO of Facebook and founder of LeanIn.org.
“In the past year, Beyoncé has sold out the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour while being a full-time mother,” wrote Sandberg about the music titan.
“Her secret: hard work, honesty and authenticity. And her answer to the question, ‘What would you do if you weren’t afraid?’ appears to be “Watch me. I’m about to do it.” Then she adds, “You can, too.”
Other TIME’s 100 honorees include Richard Sherman, Key and Peele, Eric Holder and 12 Years A Slave director Steve McQueen.
TIME’s 100 most influential people issue hits newsstands Friday.
