Lupita Nyong’o and other celebs of color in People’s Most Beautiful issue
Lupita Nyong’o is currently basking in the glow of being named People magazine’s Most Beautiful person and looking graceful while doing so. As previously reported, the 31-year-old Oscar winner is following in the footsteps of past Most Beautiful cover girls Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyoncé .
After receiving the distinction, Nyong’o shared with People that she initially had a hard time accepting her beauty, despite her mother telling her that she was beautiful.
“I finally believed her at some point,” said the actress.
Alongside Nyong’o, other stars on the list include Keri Russell and Pink. There are also at least three women of color in this year’s ranking.
Below are the female celebs of color that have been confirmed so far from People’s Most Beautiful issue. The entire list will be released on newsstands Friday, April 25.
