Fans of the classic “Cash Money takin’ over for the ’99 and 2000” sound may rejoice at this news.
Original Cash Money Millionaires Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh appear to have settled past differences and are working on new music together.
Producer Charles Pettaway recently posted the photo below of himself with Weezy and Fresh in the studio during a session.
Though no word has been given on whether the pair were working on music for Wayne’s upcoming Carter V album or a project for Fresh, this news is music to the ears of diehard Cash Money fans.
It’s been almost ten years since Mannie Fresh left the Cash Money fold amid allegations of financial misconduct on the part of label owners Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Baby” Williams.
Wayne and Fresh have not worked together since collaborating on Wayne’s landmark 2004 album, Tha Carter.
