Chicago man arrested after girlfriend claims he gave her HIV

A man in Chicago was arrested after his girlfriend claimed that he gave her HIV. According to Chicago Sun-Times, Johanson Little dated the woman from June 2012 until June 2013.

The woman says that she didn’t have sex with anyone else during their one year relationship. She eventually discovered that she was HIV-positive after getting tested in February.


Although Little told the woman his ex-wife died of ovarian cancer,  she eventually discovered from his family that she died of AIDS. The woman also says Little admitted to knowing that he was HIV positive and first tested positive in 2003.

Little was arrested and charged with a class two felony. His bail was set at $750,000.
