Actors Seth Rogen and James Franco famously spoofed Kanye West’s 2013 video “Bound” last year. The video also featured West’s fiancEe Kim Kardashian, who was shot in various erotic poses on a motorcycle with Kanye. In their spoof video, Rogen played Kim and Franco was Kanye. It turns out, Kanye himself thought the spoof was funny.
According to Seth Rogen, Yeezy gave both he and his buddy Franco a call to find out if they wanted to perform at Kanye and Kim’s upcoming wedding. Rogen shared the story during a recent appearance on “Ellen” to promote his new film Neighbors.
“Me and Franco got a call and [West] said that he was thinking it may be funny if we performed it at the wedding and we came out on a motorcycle,” Rogen says.
But it seems like Kanye didn’t really have the stunt planned out very well.
“And then we were like, ‘And then what do we do?’ And then we were all like, ‘I don’t know,'” Rogen shared. “And then we were like, ‘That’s probably not gonna be very funny then.’ Because then [West] is like, ‘Then I’m just rapping with you and James Franco on a motorcycle for five minutes.’ Thank God, I think he kind of realized that it might not have been the best idea.”
Despite the flimsy performance idea, Rogen says he would’ve done it just because Kanye asked him to.
“If he wanted me there, I would have been there naked, with a shirt off, however he wanted me, on a motorcycle, doing whatever he needed because I’m a fan,” he said.
